As a traveling food lover, the Highfield Hotel in Keswick, Cumbria was a dream come true. From the welcome drink at the Honesty Bar to the local food menus suited to all tastes, every aspect was thoughtfully designed. Our room, Room 16, offered breathtaking views of Lake Derwentwater and the surrounding Fells & Mountains. the breakfast room views were so good, they were once listed in the Times Top 10 Most Scenic Restaurants. Plus, the private off street car park at the rear of the property made exploring Keswick a breeze. the Highfield Hotel truly added a touch of elegance and charm to our stay in the heart of the Northern Lake District.
